Socratec Telematic GmbH is a medium-sized specialist offering customer focused GNSS-based technology for various market segments especially transportation and logistics, service and handicrafts business, car and construction machine rental.

Socratec’s telematic solutions focus on the issues transparency, route documentation, mobile security, theft alert, alarming, construction machine monitoring, drivers logbook and fuel consumption monitoring.

The solutions are proven in practice and are used for monitoring of vehicles, machines, container, swap bodies, freight and individuals.

The own-developed web-based control center software SocraMapCenter is easy to use, well  and modern designed and has a lot of future-oriented and flexible useful functions to manage and monitor logistic units.

History

Socratec was founded in 2004 in Regensburg/Germany. 2006 it moved to the location of today in Bensheim/Germany.

In those 20 years a lot of projects were realized in various industry segments. Socratec as well developped own products for the telematic market like SocraFlite for monitoring of airfreight, SocraCargo for monitoring land and sea freight and last but not least Contad (Smart Container Tracking and Accident Detection) for Real Time Monitoring and detection of container average.
